Day 1: Marrakech – Telouet – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate
We will pick you up at your hotel/riad in marrakech. than we leave towards the High Atlas Mountains and the road for Ouarzazate via Tizi´ N´Tichka pass (2260m). You will enjoy beautiful landscapes with different colours and the Berber villages. We will make a look at Kasbah Telouet which was under gouvernance of the Glaoui Pacha during his reign and is frequented by Moroccan pilgrims.. The Harem and reception hall areas give a good idea of the former luxury in which El Glaoui was living, as well as a look at the Andalusian-style of decorating. However, the older parts of the Kasbah are in complete ruins, making it difficult to see properly. Walking through the crumbling passageways is like walking through a maze and some people have got lost exploring the dilapidated Kasbah. Then we reach Kasbah, Aït Benhaddou, known as a World Heritage Site BY UNESCO and then the Moroccan Government itself jumped on the bandwagon in 1994 to rehabilitate the Kasbah in order to preserve the cultural and national heritage. The Kasbahs were an ancient stop for camel caravans carrying salt through the Sahara and returning with gold, silver and slaves. Overnight in Ouarzazate at you Hotel Kasbah .
Day 2: Ouarzazate – Skoura Oasis – Dades Gorge _merzouga
After The breakfast we will be heading towards Ouarzazate known as the Gate of Sahara Desert. Visit Kasbah Taourirt. Then we depart travelling via the Road of 1000 Kasbahs to the Oasis Skoura lined by many palm groves then in our way we will stop for visiting the Rose Valley which is knowning for its production of Damascus roses. At Dades Boumalne we can take the smaller route that will lead us to the Dades Gorge. We will pass the strange rock creation of Tamnalt Hills, a bizarre rock resembling monkey feet. We will travel to the top of the Dades Gorge, after we continue our trip towards merzouga via erfoud and rissani
Day 3: Erg Chebbi – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes
You will wake up to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi, possibly the best moment of Merzouga desert, drive to Fes along the Ziz Valley Gorge and via Azrou and the cedar forests where colonies of the indigenous Barbary monkeys will keep you amused. Then we continue our way to Fez where the private tour ends.
